Helmet for a tall guy

I've had a Gforce and Arai helmet before, but with the Gforce I ran into clearance issues with headroom in my 996 C4. The Arai was ok but ran me $800 or so as opposed to $350 for the Gforce.

I have a 996 Turbo now and just wondering what people that are tall usually wear for a helmet. I'm 6'4.

Easier to lower your seat than to find a low profile helmet since the helmet needs some material to protect your pumpkin

The mod bug is getting to me. Way too much spent on my 4 cars over the last couple of years. It would be good to have an OEM solution to a problem for once.

this is what you are looking for if you have a Recaro seat...board sponsor...they may also have 996 sliders that will fit the seat you do have

Newly redesigned 996/997 seat bracket fits well and allows for plenty of headroom:

Nice, wish I'd seen those brackets a couple of years ago....
