Check out the blog for measurements of the throw before and after. If you are thinking about this shifter there is some good information on there.

Great write up! How does the throw compare between a 996 ssk and a 997 ssk?

That's the 997 SSK installed in a 996 turbo in the blog. I have not installed one in a 997 so I do not have that information.

The 997 is essentially the same shifter, but it uses larger diameter bushings where the shifter sits in the cage.

I see you did not opt to install the green "t" on the new shifter.
My 997 kit came with a new green "t" and I used it. What do you think the functional difference is?

Thanks,

Tom
