Looking for 996tt daunting!!

I continue to search for the perfect 996tt. Slate gray, midnight blue, seal gray, all driving me crazy. Regular turbo, X50, CPO what to do. How did any of you pull the trigger. Can't seem to do it. I know mileage doesn't matter assuming the right care. The CPO cars have a little security, but if one just came off CPO, should be pretty safe. How's the accumulator Ach!!

Once you drive the car your not going to care what color it is ... I would try and get a K24 car to start with.

You can always get an aftermarket warranty on your car. Just keep in the back of your head that these cars are approaching 6-10 years old for the most part. Look for interior rattles which are not fun when spending $40K+, healthy brakes, clutch, things you can control when purchasing.

Maybe you're given it way too much taught. Some of these cars are approaching the 10yr old mark, so some maintenance will be expected. Find one you like, get a PPI and enjoy the ride.

The right cars are out there. I found my white/black Turbo (which many consider to be one of the rarer, more desirable color combination), with full carbon interior, aerokit and many choice mods right on this site. Narrow down your must have color/options/mods and go from there. Shopping is half the fun.

I personally wouldn't pay a premium for CPO vehicles or those with after market extended warranty. These cars are fairly reliable, and the parts that do go bad (2nd gear pop out, clutch accumulator, etc.), there have been examples of CPO/warranty co., making excuses of not paying for the repair.
