I'm w/ Peter on the hp thing Scott. At mid ohio this weekend your 996 had the gt3 front brakes maxed and greased the front 255 r888's after just several 9/10 laps. Looking at rear camber plates for it but may just wait for the 993 to be done. Hoping the Kelly Moss rebuild w/ A28's and Protomotive tune will be enough but 1.3 bar in your old car is just nuts for track use.

You ain't messing around if you're having Kelly Moss setup your car for the track.

What boost level do you run Scott's old car at on the road course?

Yes, they're shuffle pinning the case, blueprint/balance etc. then Knighton will tune it using their dyno info.
I was running Scott's car up to 1.3 bar today. People were coming by saying "holy cr*p that thing just flew by me!" It's a pig in the turns though and the 255/315 R888's just didn't keep up.
Bet your GT2 would be great fun at Brainerd. I'd go there but don't have the cajones for those high speed turns.

I haven't ran the GT2 at BIR yet. I was going to go up this last weekend but had to go out of country on biz. I don't have enough seat time in a porsche to be going anymore than 7/10 maybe 8/10 on the track yet. Heck I even dial it down a little in turn 1 & 2 up there in the Z06. The risk reward on those two turns can be pretty painful. I am over 170 on the straight before 1 - I just don't have the aero or the cajones to stay in it through 1. I'd be at stupid speeds into 2 if I went all out through 1.

Even on the wastegates, Atomic's GT2 would be expert only at anything beyond
8/10's at BIR. With hundreds of laps at BIR, turn 1 and expecially turn 2 terrify me.

Scott's old car (Proto 996TT) must be a hoot on the straights Brad !?)
