Engine shut off going reverse
I have a 996TT with tiptronic. Today, I startup my car, and put it in reverse, and suddenly the engine just shut down by itself. It happened a few times, until I gave the engine a few rev in Park, and reverse was working again. Mostly happen during startups. Anybody know what's wrong with that? Any suggestions?

I'd start by checking your air filter, MAF, throttle body for dirt. Mine would do similar things (6 speed not tip) and it was cured with a new air filter (I don't think the previous owner changed it in the car's first 6 years of life 
)
