Master Cylinder

Has anyone had to replace a bad brake master cylinder on their 996tt? I have been having issues with pedal feel for awhile, and have done SS lines, flush with Brembo LCF600, rotors, pads. Feel is better, but still soft, and nothing like what it originally was. There are no fluid leaks and the reservoir is full. Had my indie do a smoke test and test vacuum at the booster, and he found no vacuum leaks and around 30psi of vacuum at the booster at idle.

He said that its possible that the front seal in the MS is leaky. I did a search and couldn't find any information on the subject. If anyone who has experience with this could chime in, it would be very helpful.
