What a cute couple

Some new billet toys are on the way thanks to Kevin @ Alamo Turbos and here are some preview pix (turbine housings have not been coated yet):

unique impellor approach. Are those machine grooves left on the insides of the impellor? Why did kevin leave it in this state? If they are machined from titanium stock, I can see why they couldn't finish them. Do you know how much air these turbines flow?

heya Oak,

Those are billet ones but if you look at the new garrett stuff, it's machined with the same approach. I'll get you the exact flow numbers tomorrow. I remember Kevin telling me and obviously they were better than K24s but a little short of the GT25s.

In Europe, where History comes from and where I am from, they are called Renault 5s! Le Car my ****! Actually in the mid 80s there was a peppy Renualt 5 Turbo, which used to kick **** on the WRC circuit. I notice they don't sell Renaults over here...

LOL, I wish! It should be pretty peppy. We'll see what happens So far I don't know of any Tip owners that have messed about as much as I am (please let me know if I'm wrong because I'd love to hear/learn some stuff) going to be doing...
