New car upgrade! Base to S
New car upgrade! Base to S
Hi guys
Ok, so my first 991 was a an Agate base model with a manual. Great car. Had it 18 months and loved it. There's a "Hot deal of the week" thread on on Rennlist that popped a perfect car for me right in my backyard. Guards Red, PDCC, PDK, and then some. Grabbed it with 4K miles and $40k off list. Could not pass this up. It's the color I I wanted with the performance options I wanted .
LOVE the PDK!
Anyway here are a couple shots.

Congrats, nice step up. The car is well optioned. I had a base agate 991 as well, it was a great car. I drove it for about 16 months and tracked it as well. It was always a bit underpowered which made it all the more fun to drive keeping it over 4K and winding it out.

Well, yes and no I would say. Just cruising around I would say no. Day to day driving. However, getting on the right peddle pretty hard and getting things over 5 on the tach and YES! There's more there for sure. I wanted the S for more than the power though. The bigger brakes, PASM, stuff like that are all very nice to have. This car also has PDCC which is very cool on fast on clover leafs

The bigger change for me is going to PDK from a manual. I'm glad my first 911 was a stick, and I really loved it but this PDK is just fantastic. Can't say enough good things about it.
