Look at it this way, the tighter the fit, the less chance you get for a leak. Would you like a system that simply slips on with alot of wiggle room upon application, I wouldn't?

+1 to Markski, he knows what he's talking about.

An absolutely nightmare to install, everything needs modification to fit it right…mine still not in and I am really tired about it!

Thats not true or very nice considering we are trying to help you. You have the same kit as the OP and we have tried to accomondate your parts that are not oem or oem style. I have seen your pictures and have told you what is wrong by your install. Instead of posting why dont you call me to tell me what you need help with still. I am here to help...

First of you can not tell me what to do...ok, so to make sure where you are.

I have a problem with you Y-pipe and thus me is not the fitting with the EVO IC's, I have already make new parts here for that because the connectors that you sent me have smaller diameters than the EVO.

Dan, the problem now is the base of the temp sensor, it is on not 100% straight or horizontal and when you screw it up its open the sensor up (it will leak). Second, the temp inlet diameter has a different diameter than OEM.

Just simple, the pipe looks awesome but these simple details consume your time in installation and as an enthusiast of this forum form 2004, I love to work in my car but this should be solved in the development.

Dan,

also, the EVO F-hose is shorter than the AP therefore at list 1/2 inch of the pipe connector had helped.

We have made and sold about 50 of these, so there is no "development". I will continue support via email. Please contact me at dan@vividracing.com.

Can you post up the fixes for each of your issues when you get it installed?

TIA

str8blst I will try so and I hope with some pics;

for example the problem of the temp sensor base is not in a straight line is because when it was welded, the aluminum expanded in some areas losing the horizontality. The right way to construct it, is to weld this part, then your turner will rectify and then weld the others legs of the Y-pipe, it just a manufacturing procedure. Now with the legs in place is very very had to make it and what I am doing is to manually buffer it with a precision tool. Then I will make a gasket to correct all the imperfections and/or use very little silicone.

There is a rubber O-ring for the MAP sensor. Tighten down and it will sit flat...
