Not a good figure for a Porsche. Stock tires and 7k limiter you are going to be in for less than a 150mph in 4th. Going into an overdrive gear shows nothing...

I have a feeling this is going to turn into one of those ***** fest how people have traction problems at 60. Drag Radials, ET Streets, etc.. work perfect people just arne't smart enough to use them!

I think 60-130 is probably good enough. Realistically, it would be hard enough to find a spot to get those numbers without getting arrested...

Middle East P car owners and European P car owners already pushed to 300 kmh.

So they can chime in.

60 to 130 is a better measure that is being used everywhere now.

racegate is infamous around these parts
Yeah it's definitely more about the fact that 60-130 is the standard than anything else..makes it easy to compare data. Plus its a good range. You don't have to beat on the clutch or launch the car...etc. Reasonable speeds, but still a good representation of top-end power.

If you can't hook up at 60, you don't have too much power for the test..you just don't have enough traction. I know from experience that the right tire/suspension combo should hook even a 900whp turbo-powerband type on the street at that speed. I think too many people work hard on the power part and totally neglect the tire/suspension part to actually make that power useful on a street car.

My best 100-150 at 830rwhp is 4.48 seconds, but ya...too much of a hassle adding yet another performance measurement to the mix. Between 100-200 km/h, 60-130, 1/4 mile, 0-300 km/h and standing mile...we have plenty of data to sort through.

Scott, you can do it with your passion.

And also not many people will be able to do this test. So you wont have to work a lot.
