Its a 79 and at least it gets me around while the 911 is in the shop (which is a lot)...it helps with my patience.

I was having the ABS and PSM lights go off a lot while the intake pipe was off....also getting error 151 on the durametric (hot MAF film)....it goes away when the intake pipe is back on as far as I know, but does that mean the MAF is busted?

So my mechanics called me and said they got the intake pipe fixed up...however, when they re-pressure tested everything, they found several leaks including the diverter valves, check valve and plenum.

This is not working....NEW PLAN

My normal mechanic is coming back Monday. He will be starting from scratch...turbos to the TB...to ensure everything is done correctly and will stay reliable.

Looks like these issues are 100% mechanical and nothing to do with the tune.

Thanks Scott (Softronic) for helping me along the way and looking at meaningless data logs! (I thought pausing the durmetric clears the data)

As soon as its up and running (correctly), I will post dyno / log results.

Also, thanks to bmoores, Markski and Dan (Vivid) for continued help!

Dude unless your DV's vent to the atmosphere you shop has not a clue! Good luck because it seems that is what you will need.... And a few hale Mary's

i have to agree with tim here 100% .the bad thing is now your normal mechanic will have to come back and and clean up/try to clean up the guys mess....the more hands thats in there tinkering the harder it gets..

Steve Ott is a sharp guy, he did bmoores kit and has taken care of him and a few others on the boards. now if its someone else wrenching at steves shop i cant relate, nor can i say steves done any work for me but we all know bens car ran well at the mile.

i dont know about false info etc. as i wasn't there but things dont add up or the problems are not found yet if ya know what i mean..

No idea what you mean by your post NYC Tim...but anyway...just to clear things up...Steve did all the work on my car including the most recent wave of mods. He takes great care of me but had a lot of trouble fitting all the recent parts into my car. He had go out of town for a while as soon as he finished the install, so he did not have time to check everything out.

The other mechanics did nothing to the car except try to fix the problems that occurred during install...which is why I posted her in the first place...to make sure the other mechanics were in the right direction in getting the car fixed.

I thought Steve swore he would never do another intake after Todd's??? or was that just for Tip cars????
