TT lean past 1 BAR.

03 996TT . K24/18g.Protomotive tune. 5 bar fpr.
I recently installed a HKS EVC boost controller. to sort out all of the issues I had with my last greddy ebc unit.

I also retuned the wastegates. and now Im getting 0.8 bar with minimal spike and dropoff to 0.75 bar. which is what I was after.

I tuned the HKS to give me 1 Bar steady from spool to redline.

the car is awesome but. I was hoping to go all the way to 1.2 bar. I was datalogging as i was tuning and at 1 bar lambda is good around 0.79-0.81.
but at 1.1 bar lambas go to about 0.88 and at 1.2 bar im well into 0.94 and sometimes to 0.98

i know this is way too lean at this kind of boost. I dont now if its a tune, thing or a fuel pump or fpr issue.

anybody have any ideas on diagnosing this problem. or is it the next bottle neck that needs to be addressed.

your probably running out of fuel.... I bet it goes lean after 6500... if so short shift it...
did it do it before the HKS install?

just get some injectors and your problems with go away...

here is what we sell with the proto tune...

Put a fuel psi gauge on it and log your injector duty cycle. That should tell you the story on your fuel system. But stock injectors and a 5bar is really not enough fuel safely. Remember that the higher the fuel psi the less fuel the pump will move. I feel you need injectors and a real fuel system.

its not really a rpm dependent problem. its more boost dependent but not completely I have a log where im boosting to aorun 1.15 bar and it maxes out at 0.9 lamba at 5000 rpm and at 6500 rpm (with slightly higher boost) i get 0.85 lambda. attached is the log file. the run is at the end of the spreadsheet.

Get injectors - 5bar is really not enough to get the most out of 18Gs

I cant open your log, but the more boost the more fuel is needed across the boards. The max fuel consumption will be in your torque peak, rpm has nothing to do with it.
