A sad day I sold my X50. Sold in one day full price
I decided last week to put my 02' X50 up for sale, I was on the fence about it so I priced it high and hoped it wouldn't sell. Well it sold in one day and I got full price, I also sold it for more than I paid for it 18 months ago (and 8000 miles). My dealer who sold it did a great job. If anyone is local to NY,PA, NJ area and want his number IM me. I see on the FS thread that alot of cars seem to be on there awhile (even the ones that are priced IMHO way low) So I was a little discouraged especially since mine was a tip. Well it's gone 1 day, In the fall, cash buyer and top dollar.
Now the only question, Whats next?

congrats on the sale. the market for used 996 and 997 are fairly strong. 996 took a dive 2 yrs ago but prices have held or come up since.
do you mind sharing the sold price and mileage? what's next?

A little investigative work and it looks like you got a fair price for your car, less what you would have paid H** I** to sell it for you.
As far as "one day full price," it says a lot about how they priced it. The ad in the For Sale section 2 months ago was $4k higher.
Every car will sell at the right price. Every car will sit at the wrong price.
You must have bought very, very well if you sold it for more than you paid for it. Nice work!

No Datsuns for me. I did paint myself into a corner owning a Porsche Turbo, I meen How do you top a turbo. That being said here is my short list.
- Exige
- E550
- M3
- M5
- 997 s or turbo
- ZO6 but my wife said they are too NJ
