NJ is one of the highest rates for car insurance. I pay $1750 a year full coverage plus they cover track insurance. If you want I can give you my insurance guy's info. He will get several quotes for you. Plus he's a Porsche enthusiast also.

Also keep in mind...if you will be modding the ext warranty may not cover your other items. So not sure it is worth it.

I'm 30, have $300k/$500k liability, $250 coll deduct, $100 comp deduct, $300/$500 BIUM limits. I pay about $600/6 months and it's a Daily Driver.

I am married and have a multi-policy discount, accident-free discount.

I'm with State Farm.

Soooo much of your rate is based on the limits and deductibles you select along with geographical variables. It would be hard to get a good apples to apples comparo unless your talking to another TT owner that lives near you with the same limits and same life variables (age, gender, other policies, driving record, yearly miles, etc...).

I was with State Farm for a long time then I went to Geiko and now I'm with AAA. I'm paying $54/mo full coverage on my Porsche. No accidents or speeding tickets. I'm over 25 by 16 years, not married. I do have a hefty deductible though. I'm actually paying a few bucks more a month on my Corvette which is funny considering the cost of both vehicles.

You need to compare insurance costs based on the coverage and deductibles. I could get insurance for $30 a month if I wanted to. I pay $560/6 months 300K/500K/$1M umbrella with $250 deductible/rental car/unisured motorist $100K etc.

My thoughts exactly! I would rather pay extra for good coverage with a reliable car insurance provider. I go with $1 million umbrella apart from my liability, comprehensive and collision coverages; recently added uninsured/underinsured to my list when a buddy got hit by an uninsured driver and couldn’t claim.

Rates are going to be different County by County within a State. So you would have to find someone in your county, same age, driving record, marital status, coverages, and car to compair Apples to Apples.

I just switched to Geico when I moved to Alabama a couple weeks ago- the Porsche adds $51 to my policy, full coverage. No accidents/tickets. $250 deductibles.

I will switch back to USAA when I leave this area- for some reason USAA had super high rates for Alabama...
