ExigentM will become famous soon enough
I am very happy with Markski's exhaust. I installed the 3", 100 cell cats, no mufflers. Their is some drone in the range you mentioned mufflers may cure that?), the sound is fantastic!

It was a very easy install, everything fit perfectly. Markski even called us on the phone @.10:00 pm the night we did it to make sure it was going well and to say that if we had any trouble he could be there the next day ( we are about 5 hours from him). Not many vendors are going to provide that kind of support.

thank you for the kind words... you opted for the race version which is also with pre made mufflers... I can get rid of that unwanted noise with the custom 4 muffler street version.... but its is more money as I get into some tricky stuff building the mufflers...
thanks again,
mark

here is the pre made muffler vs the custom muffler....

ExigentM - saw your car at the Keeneland Concours! Snapped a pic and sent to Markski cause it looked like his exhaust! LOL

Markski is my favorite Polack, the guy is always there to help even when you annoy him he is calm and collective. He is always willing to help. You couldn't ask for more...not possible.
WOW you're old

It sure is great to be a 996TT owner these days. I had a really hard time choosing as I think Marek, Switzer and Speedtech all have great products. Marek had the most options but I ended up picking up a demo speedtech 2.5 for a steal and I absolutely love it. It is great for DD and sounds perfect outside the car. There is a hint of drone but nothing even sports talk radio at a med level doesn't cover completely.

Andrew,

It's great to hear from you and I'm pleased to learn that you are enjoying the exhaust so much! Your comments echo the design criteria for our SpeedTech 2.5 "quiet" cross-flow exhaust - exactly. We spent a lot of time developing just the right mix of pipe size, tip shape and X-flow design to achieve what you are descibing. That's why I run the same system on my car - it's a daily driver with 106K (all my personal miles) and I have used systems in the past that droned badly. Our 2.5 was designed to set a new standard for the 996TT and is my clear choice for a daily driver. Take care and thanks for the feedback.

for those who have switched from 2.5" to 3", was it a noticable gain?
while switching I will also be going from 200 CEL cats to 100 CEL cats.
What can I expect? (other than a louder system)
