Recommendations for 18" street / track wheels
Recommendations for 18" street / track wheels
I'm looking to up-size my stock wheels. I normally run my 19" on the street. I'm insistent that the new (or used wheels) 18s, be 12" or more rear and 8.5 or better yet 9" in front. Otherwise I'll just stick to my stock hollow spokes.
Tire rack has the OZ Alleggerita for $1600. They also have a 9" front that can be made to fit in front acording to Damon.
Anyone know what the offsets need to be for the 9" in the front?
Here are the stock GT2 sizes and offsets: 8.5x18 ET 40 front, and 12x18 ET 45 rear. When I had GT2 wheels the rears worked just fine with 315s and 7mm spacers so I know that 12" with up to 37mm offset will work.

gt2 wheels are 45mm offset so with 7mm spacers they become 38... 53m offset is gonan be different. If you go under the gt2 section for 996 Damon has those wheels in 12" with 45min offset so with that 7mm spacer they should work for you as long as you don't have any upgraded piping.
I just received my OZ Aleggerita wheels from TireRack. I was amazed at the weight. They are so much lighter than the stock wheels even with the winter tires that were installed. They are very nice wheels indeed and well balanced with the tires given the minimal weights that were installed.

Depending what kind of suspension configuration you're running, you can run 18X9.5 et47 or 18X9 et41. I ran 18X9.5's and 265/35/18's.
great information ^^
They make the wheel in an 18 x 9 43ET..
I'm thinking 12" in an 51ET and 9" in a 43ET
Unfortunatley they don't make the wheels silver and I hate black / dark wheels. I can do Black, anthracite, red, orange, blue... what do you guys think would look best on a silver car?
