Are there any factory cars that use the gt2860rs that will mate with the 996tt? Are there any factory cars that use the k24's that mate to the 996tt. Why cant i go to scrap yard and grab these off car xyz and send them off to favorite tuner for upgrade and or rebuild?

gt28s are not direct replacement... Tial made gt28s as direct replacement but they are not found at your local scrap yard...

wow is this a serious question? like some one said porsches are not hondas .
T28s came on stock on Blacktop SR20s. They are T2 falnged and will not fit on a Porsche 3 bolt KKK falnge, you can get headers and custom exhaust to make it work. You will not find any at the junkyard though, junkyards are stocked with DSM, Volvo, Saab and truck turbos. At that point a good source for you is http://www.homemadeturbo.com/ i learned a lot there when i was building my first turbo kit for my Honda when i was 18.
Would I do any of that on a Porsche - not a chance.
Want more juice - convert your stockers to 16Gs, get a 5bar fpr and a tune.
Cheap, easy, reliable.
