my air bag light has been on for the last 2 weeks. No accidents, bumps, etc. No recent changes to the car at all anyway. Is this one of those electonic gliches that you have to put up with once in a while? Any ideas/suggestions in short of visiting the shop to have it turned off? Ted

 

Old TSB. Any Porsche dealer can do it. Ask them to do the FULL fix, not just reset it.

 

You need to have it looked at with either the PSTII or Baum etc. I have seen more popping up that have an issue with the pass side seat belt. The connection in the belt goes south and turns the light on. It only needs to happen for a split second and it will stay on. The code will tell you for sure. It needs to be reset with either one of the two mentioned above.
