wondering how the europipe exhaust sounds on a TIPTRONIC.. wondering if any drone ... exhausts on tiptronics sound different then 6 speed cars.. would love to hear back from some tiptronic owners that have custom exhaust about if they have any drone issues or not... thanks

 

I have it on my tip. There is some drone with windows up in 4th/5th gear at low rpms, like ~2k, but it is not bad. Otherwise, it sounds absolutely great and I'd highly recommend it.

Do some searching, there is a lot of discussion on this, and I've written better reviews on the EP elseware already.

 

The stage 1 doesn't have any drone nor does the stage ii quiet system. The stage ii loud has a bit.

I spoke to Stef at europipe and he explained that in a tip the usual cruising speed put the rpms right at the band where you can get some resonance (drone) in the Stage 2 Loud. That is the only reason he does not recommend the Stage 2 loud for a tip.

The stage one and the Stage 2 quiet do not have that issue.
