As you all may know, I'm working with MaxBoost Apparel to once again provide the shirts for the TX2K Event. To that end, I got together with Eric and we have decided to do something "different". While we have 2 designs ready to go that we both really like, we thought it would be neat to open up the actual design to you all! Soooooooooo, here are the rules:
1. You are only submitting a design for the back of the main event shirt
2. You must somehow incorporate TX2K11, the dates of the event (March 17-20, 2011), and the location (either Houston or the state of TX)
3. Image must be 14 inch wide and 16 long (to give us room to fit sponsors)
4. Can only be 2 colors including white as an underlay
5. No photographs or gradients/fades
6. Vector file preferred (cdr, eps, ai)
Email all design proposals to pblach@att.net and maxboost@maxboostapparel.com
If Eric and I choose your design, your name and/or company name will be listed on the shirt itself.
Deadline for submission is Monday February 28th

I think Porscha may have been referring to the "speculation" that you were trying to coordinate a way for the two to join in some fashion.
As Peter said The Mile is a completely separate event. My personal preference would be to attend Texas 2K11. Much more up close and personal and always fun to see the best of the best out on the streets.

Like last year, Lonestar will be offering 3-day passes for entry to the Park. The cost will be $55 and will allow entry to Lonestar Friday, Saturday and Sunday. These can be purchased at the gate on Friday morning. The biggest benefit is that you will be able to skip the line at the gate on Saturday and Sunday and get in right away (sometimes the line takes an hour). These are NON-REFUNDABLE.

Thanks to Eric Hanken at Maxboost and to Stephen Plunk with Plunk Designs! We wanted to keep it SIMPLY this year and really incorporate the state of TX into the design. These will be on sale at the official TX2K11 events, see you guys soon! Also, there are a few more sponsors being added so if you don't see your name on the sponsor list, don't stress, it's coming!

Ken, the sponsors of TX2K11 (www.tx2k.com) are the ones that can reserve a spot on the dyno....otherwise it's first come first serve. However, if you want to feature your product, I will work with you....call me (check PM).
