have not taken der porsche out in two weeks soooo today was the day.... heres the ? i know cool weather is porsche weather but, the car really ran good today only a short drive but i got the car up to 3500 rpms and punched it the rear end went in all directions infact i had to let off the gas (the streets were dry) what hp gain should i expect from the cold weather yep it was fun
I would say you get full power in cold weather. There is no question that these cars are a LOT faster in 50-60 degree weather than in 100 degree.
Not only are the IATs lower, but the IC are a lot more effective.

If running ultra high performance tires in the cooler weather it takes longer to get any heat in them, causing us to loose traction a little easier as well. This, compounded by the cooler air intake temps makes for fun times...
can see the dark clouds in the mts. thats why my ride was short, from rocklin to the 76 station just short of auburn . i know truckee is a cold spot , it's sunday and am seeing more rain in the west snow for you keep the p car inside and safe
It has been Cool and Pretty Dry in Colorado the last couple of weeks.
Beautiful weather for Forced Induction.
This is my first winter as a Porsche owner, I figured November through March would be pretty sketchy, So far so good in November, very little snow and it's been melting pretty fast...

The calculator said "normally aspirated", I understand turbo cars fair better at altitude.
