I have some and have had NO problems with them. I think they had some issues early on....those were addressed. Great value....perhaps a bit more track oriented than say a pss9 or 10...

Thanks for your comments. Besides the Coilovers do you have any other suspension upgrades.

The JIC units have some great benefits, the older units had some seal issues i heard, but nothing like what is happening to KW right now. No they are not Motons or Ohlins but they are a more track orientated setup then pss10's

you've ridden in franks car with them havent you?
If not im pretty sure it will be at cars n coffee ina week

Have them on my car, and like them. Rear GT3 sway. Set @GT2 height
No problems with seals or anything else. About 15k on the set. Here are my specs:

did you ever had any creaking issues with the camber plates? i know they made two versions of them because the old style didn't have enough articulation on the upper mount.

None, perhaps these are a newer style.

I've had zero issues with mine and they ride great. I prefer it to the Bilsteins.

JIC's are the only coilover you can get (that I know of) that can do -3* camber in the front without split lowers. That was a big selling point for me. I am running -2.5 right now with stock lowers. Ride is a little stiff so may not be good for a daily.

They are very close to my house and I know many who have installed. They seemed to generate a low number of unhappy customers.

X98boardwell is infamous around these parts
Questions

I have a couple,

1) How can one tell whether or not the units are the old versions or the new? If the olds have had so many issues is there a large difference in look or is there a model number that will help to decipher which version they are?

2) Where is JIC located?

I may be rebuilding a used set here soon so I would like to figure out what model they are and if they are worth rebuilding or just purchasing another product.

Thanks,
Bryan
