Need Big time help, I want GT2

With all the crazy price drops now is the time to pull the trigger on the ultimate Porsche, can you people point me in the right direction, I would like to find a 02 or 03 modded GT2 (would love Yellow or Red) and buy it at a steal, everyone is saying the deals are out there, can you guys help find me one. Thanks.

Rave, here's my .02 from another thread:

According to some members on this board, you should be able to get a 2002 GT2 for 60K. Complete joke. It's funny how people on this board are forced to dump their cars because they can't afford them and then they say the market is tanking...

Rave, I've seen GT2's for around 135K to 150K. What a bargain. Seriously, that is such a steal for a car that performs the way a GT2 does. In hindsight, I wish I could have waited and not bought my TT and purchased a slightly used GT2. If I wasn't in the process of getting a new home (or didn't have my current TT), I would be all over Shank's GT2 (hint, hint...).

Rave,

Seriously, if you want a perfect GT2, buy shank's. He is super **** with his cars. Paint is perfect, car is waxed every two weeks, the wheels look sick in person, and...................the stereo system on this car is absolutely AMAZING!!. He is throwing in the wheels and the $10k + stereo system at a price I keep telling him to raise. But, anyway, his loss is your gain. The interior still smells like new, perhaps from the smell of the natural leather. I'd buy it in a second, but the inclement weather and streets of Chicago are hard to deal with. I'm still considering it. When you get to Miami, check it out and drive it, you'll be going home with a GT2, seriously you'll be impressed. Coolest interior I've seen. Sorry to rant but I love that car.

Lou

Rave, I think you would like Shank's car, especially with the sound system in it. There is also a yellow 2002 GT2 on ebay with less than 1000 miles on it.

buy shanks, they want 150k+ for that yellow one. I asked them online what they would sell it for and he said nothing less than 150k. I think Shanks is a whole lot more car for the money.

Just to play devil's advocate, but have you driven a GT2? With the money you put into your car and what you will lose upon sale, you really are getting a GT2 at MSRP. Let me know if you find one locally to drive as I'd tag along for sh@ts and giggles.

Good point, a GT2 buy would greatly depend on finding a decent home for my car, I'm not sure if that is possible in this market place, and yes, I have driven a GT2.

Rave,

Aren't you going to be giving up some performance by going from your stage 4 turbo to a GT2? Or are you planning to modify the GT2?
