I pay about $1,050 a year with Geico for my 02 996tt and 04 G35 coupe, highest limits, but $1k deductible (which really lowered prices over $500 deductible).

I have been seriously considering collector car insurance with an agreed value. With the money I have in my car I'm sure I would get screwed if it were stolen or total loss. I put on 1700 miles in 2010 so i'm sure I would qualify.

I have a "speciality" policy on my '03 TT. Full coverage with $1000 deductibles, 300k/500k/100k liability, and $55k declared value. Car must remain in garage when at home, 6k miles per year mileage limit, and must not be "primary" vehicle used for work and/or school. $450 per year premium. And USAA wanted $1700 every 6-months when my 17-year old son got his drivers license!

I pay $17k a year for my X50 and G-wagen together, split about equally, with a $2000 deductible.

There's a lot of tickets on my record..... You gotta pay to play!

Anytime you post to a public forum you are subject to being flamed. Honestly, I was hesitant to post what I did anxious that I may ruffle feathers.

I see the value in sharing what you're paying with others for comparison sake, but I stand by my advice to visit one of the online agencies.

I found it invaluable. You can experiment with various coverages and vehicles.

That said, I need to shop before my next renewal.

I pay $2000 a year for an '02 Turbo and an '08 Tahoe with Geico.

Apologies for any offense. I rely on the forum for info and hope to be a valuable contributor as well.

Red faced apology.
Nice job.

Ok, I just want to make sure this isn't a typo. $17k a year for insurance for a G55 and 911 with a $2k deductible? Do you mean $1.7k a year? If not, how many tickets, 3,000?

Similar to mine. 6k miles per year, 300k/500k/100k limits, $500 deductable, garaged, excess (ie non primary) vehicle, no stated value limit on vehicle $650 a year premium. I only wonder what's going to happen when cars have "black boxes" and your insurance company as well as the cops can download your annual driving activity. 1984 is happening its just about 30 years late.

$479.40 w/GEICO every 6 months for full coverage, $5k PIP, roadside asst & 300/100K coverages & $500/$250 comp/colls deductibles.

I'm 33, married, own a home and have 2 other cars on the policy. The plus side about my policy is I only pay for 8 months.

got a quote for $80/mo for '02 996TT X50 ... I have an Umbrella Policay with vehicles and home. I will need to see if I can get an adjustment based on some of the numbers I am seeing. I have a clean record and am with State Farm, even though I think their commercials are the annoying as crap and they kill you with mailed paperwork!
