I'm considering......
Just backed my TT in the garage from breakfast with the guys and once again realized just how much fun this car is. The power, to me, is absolutely addicting. Although I do want more...............
120 on public roads every day is an entirely different discussion...........

I have the cheap commuter car with HOV stickers (ability to go in car pool lane on my own) then on Fridays and weekends it's the turbo... I don't think I could ever sell this thing. Too much damn fun, and taking these to the track is VERY addictive... I think about it far too much!
HA! Some great replies! Even those calling me a pu$$-E are damn funny.
OK, a couple of things.... 1) last night when I posted I had been drinking
and... 2) I misquoted with RWHP, it is AWD. 3) I don't really go 120 every day, at least not through school zones. But on the freeway with everyone going the same direction and if I have a shoulder to pull on to in the case of emergency, I am pretty comfy at 100 and push 120, even 140 occasionally when I get an empty stretch in front of me. Even at 100 though, I consider myself invisible to other drivers.
But here is another thing.... Even though I have the PSS9 suspension and it is lowered, the front end feels rather light at high speeds. When I drove the 997.2S - stock - The front end felt more firmly planted at 100. Maybe I just need to tighten the front end.

OK, I'm convinced, she's going to the shop for a suspension inspection. Also going to get my exhaust checked out in case I might of damaged it and that is why it is droning.
LOL, wow , what a bizarre post , where do i start...... ,
ok ,so you modded that car , and now it is to fast for you ? hmm... ok thats a problem where alot of people would like to have. as others suggested you can get a boost controller and tame the monster down ....
i my self , LOVE the buzz saw sound and the torque and violent nature of my car, and my car puts 200 wheel HP to the ground more then yours.
traction issues can be adressed easy especially with the power youa re making which i do not consider it to much , infact im suprised your having traction issues ,and in the warm weather of houston .
as looking at other cars, you can always take your car back to stock and there you go.. no reason to by anything else . you also mention though that the other cars you looked at where not fast enough...... so.. i really think you may confused here...
as for your suspension , i did not not like the pss9 at all !!!!!!! but your alignment needs to be looked at , for sure.. and check your tire pressures also!!!!!!

Confused? Yes, Thats why I posted this even though I knew it would be controversial and that I would be ill-considered by some. But by collecting others opinions I can clarify my own.
BTW - My traction problem could probably be solved with new tires. Currnet tires are on their last leg. I just have not yet bought new ones because if I am going to sell it....

easy fix here go to k mart any buy a bag of marbles then put a big one behind the acc pedal ....an egg will also do the trick but don't forget to hard boil it first.....well maybe not he he
This is one of the reasons that I love my RUF, factory smooth, a total package. If you have never tracked the car I would strongly suggest participating in a HPDE event with the PCA. Our local region, the Lone Star Region, runs an excellent program up at TWS. You will see that even a stone cold stock Carrera has a huge performance envelope.
