OMG had to post this
As much as I know a GT-R could beat it in the 1/4 time wise it will get anally raped in the MPH department which is what would put it bus lengths behind in a roll race. Juding by the fact it went 169mph a year ago and the power they've made with Jonah's LP560 and black Gallardo I'd bet this car is up there with it. I'd honestly say it probably traps close to 175-180+mph. The GT-R's best mph period is still 163 correct?
That thing is just insane!!!

I don't know a ton about the Lambo platform as far as drivetrain goes. I know that on the previous passes the car was AWD. Do the Gallardo's have an E-Diff that allows it to go complete RWD or have they dropped the front wheel drive portion? It looks like it is still hazing the tires even at the top of the track going by the fact you can see it lay fresh tracks down and it stops between shifts. It was still AWD it would have been a little more interesting ride is my only guess.
Any update? would love to see that lambo's run

The monster GT-Rs are catching up very quickly, and I personally think they will surpass the TTGs within 1 - 1.5 years.

At only 980 awhp. Imagine how fast it would have went had it been making the same whp as the Nera TTG was when it trapped 169 (1308). Also consider that Tim Switzer has gone 3.85 60-130 at a hair over 1,000 whp in a R1K GT-R. The Nera TTG needed 300 more whp to only go 0.32 seconds quicker (3.53).

In the next 2-3 months we will have couple of GTR's running 8's @ 165-175mph ..IMO
AMS just made 1110 on "low" boost ..so it should make 1250whp+
