Do this WORD for WORD...First make sure you are logged off… then clear ALL your cookies/cache, …then run-disk clean up check ALL and dump, then de-frag you HD restart and log in…ALWAYS log off when done.

Then send your first born in an unmarked box to 23 Hamishami Wy., Angola, SA 83292-6730, give a holiday tip to the mailman, and turn the ignition key on, then off 4 times.

Actually, this didn't work for me on my iphone or laptop. But we dont have that de-frag and disk clean up on the mac...

What does -"Always log off when done" mean? You are talking about on the forum, log-off every time?

Well, I take that back. It's not holding my name again. It's amazing that it only occurs on this brand of forum. All the others store my stuff just fine. Even this forum did until a few weeks ago. And, if you think I'm going to go empty my cookie folder on the iPad, you're crazy. You can't do it for each website individually and I'm not going to reenter all of the other website passwords just so I can get it to work on this one...

Yes on the forum and your phone, most if not all issues come from continually staying logged in and on fifty sites at once...ok maybe only 15 but we see this to work 98% of the time....and keep you kids they can't help out there.

Once you have done that we can assure the tech team that...... the VERY FIRST steps where tried...I have even had members tell me they did, when all a long believed it was us...only to figure out a week latter it was not us...then trying it on their end and was sorry they did not try it the first time around.....wasted a lot of man power and time by the tech team.

Did everyone delete the cookie? I deleted ONLY the cookie for 6Speed and it immediately fixed the problem.

It didn't work for me the first time, but the second time I deleted the cookies and logged in everything was OK (well, for the last 2 days anyway).

Any updates? If this thing is my iPhone/pad's fault, why do all the other forums I use not have any problems? I can't delete cookies in the swings section because I'll lose all my passwords, etc in all the forums. Is there any other way of fixing this without dumping my complete cache/cookie memory?

John

not your iPads or iPhones problem...you don't need to remove all your cookies just the 6 speed ones...also make sure you use the log out function first..just closing your browser will not get it done
