CCWs with NTs 245/305. I'm 2WD so can use taller rear like GT3.

Run the same set up CCWs C14s and nitto 305s on the rear I think they fit better on the 12" wheel then 315s. And the taller sidewall feels more like the slicks on my race car.

Looks like guys are finally seeing the benefits of the 305s over the 315s..

They should. I have a few sets of twist with various sizes and they can handle the width. The CCWs with NTs were actually from my NB GT3 so I needed to use a spacer on the back. Looks nice with the taller rear. It won't work well if in AWD setup though. My car went through a GT2 conversion including tranny by PO.

Here is my 996 Turbo with Champion RS184. These wheels are very light for 19's, 17lbs for the fronts and 19lbs for the rear. Anxiously waiting for nicer weather...

Gorgeous unicorn! Where did you find this car?
Here's a few more pics of my car during the GMG WC build. I also really like their wheels but currently have track rubber on them.

Picked up from 911AL? If so, nice to see this beauty stayed in Chicagoland.

Wow, that is an awesome build. Very nice.

I actually found this car locally in January when looking for a GT3. I hadn't set out to buy a Turbo but I'm really glad I did. The seller is here on 6speed, 911-AL, he has built some very nicely done 996 Turbos. Luckily this one was for sale at the right time.

Yes I did! Glad to keep it in the local 996 Turbo family. BTW nice car you have too.

Great looking car. Nice to see another local 996tt owner. Do you know what rear spoiler your car came with? Any other pictures of it?

Thanks!

Al sold me the car with the stock spoiler. But I recently switched it out for the TechArt Type 1 in CF. I really like the low profile look of it.
