Quote: i was wondering if you could feel a seat of the pants improvement with headers. i have a tip so i will probably only go up to 525 hp ....
Doubt it... I have not felt much seat in the pants improvement since 500whp or so. The car just feels fast after that!!

Anything K16 or K24 is bolt on as they are stock hot sides that fit the 996 manifold.

Ok! I thought so, just wanted to make sure the Billet Turbos still retained the direct replacement pattern.

Thanks!

I've seen a billet k16 do 196-197 at the Texas Mile. I recall a dyno of around 600whp.

I believe that is with injectors and race gas...

This is on 93 octane pump gas from the Marathon down the street. Yes, it includes injectors as that is (in our opinion) the best way to control fueling.

Neil, was this a stock k16 car the baselined 383? That's pretty strong to begin with..

So, with Billet 16's, a Tune and injectors you gained 220 whp?

On pump?

I think he had an aftermarket air filter on the baseline.

Yeah, our pump gas isn't even that great up here.

Oh, then I call BS. Replace with stock filter and re-dyno please.

This dyno from AMS was what I was referring to... This was with injectors and race gas. Appears tuning has moved beyond this and now can get these results with pump fuel...
