Broken Clock Adjustment ****

When I purchased my car, I noticed that the clock adjustment **** was broken. Not a big deal as the nub that sticks out still turns. I'd like to get this fixed. I ordered replacement *****, but the piece that sticks out of the dash is broken. Does the entire cluster need to be replaced or can I get it repaired?

There is a DIY for this on here, rennlist, or renntech. Can't remember where. Remember it as a PITA.

There's a thread at Renntech about replacement shaft availability. There might also be a DIY, but it's not rocket science if you have a copy of the WSM.
This is a last weeks's situation about those shafts:

Shafts are still available $39.95 each and shipping is $6.95 total for one or more shafts,..

I accept Paypal, check, money order, cash.

Thanks
Brian

I have the same issue with my car (both of mine are broken). I got the new sticks/shafts from the guy referenced above. FWIW, he wasn't super fast with shipping, but he did get 'em sent and I have them...

When mine broke, I ordered the replacement **** set from Suncoast for $13 and superglued that sucker on. I wasn't looking for a major PITA repair and this worked for me.

Gottspd - He hasn't replied yet, so I'll have to come up with a plan B. Have you researched how difficult the install will be?

I wish I could do the same, but the stalk broke close to the instrument cluster.

Mine broke way in there too but I was able to put some superglue on the broken **** part and hold it there for about 30 seconds and it seemed to work okay. Good luck!
