Where's the best place to get a MAF?

I think I'm due for one ... where would be the best place to get one?

I'm getting Hot Film MAF from the Durametric ... although it runs about 1.35 - 1.4V ...

Time for a new one?

clean it? it is a wear item. they are 200$ just buy one install it in 5-10 minutes and back to the smiles per hour! you will need a security torx.

I've just tried cleaning mine but it didn't work in my case.

I'd love to find one for $200... I'm seeing high $300s...

the one before last was 275 the last one was 195. I buy it direct through worldpac. there was some update and that part was cheaper then the one before. The part number on the box is 0 280 218 009 Hope that helps you.

But I do see some oxidation on the curved wire ..

How do you know when the MAF has gone bad ? Or when is going to go bad ?

PSM / Airbag lights ... MAF Hot Film off the Durametric ...

but its still reading about 1.4V (which I understand is the normal reading) ... so I'm confused as well ..

The unit is interchangebakle with a specific Audi model that sells for much less... Don't know whch one.

I've had a Hitachi MAF for a while now and love it!

What would the hitachi MAF run?

I assume programming is required, yes?
