2002 Porsche GT2 current market values?

HI

I have been looking at several Porsche GT2 cars recently. What is the current price range for these cars? If anyone knows where a white or red one is in great shape please let me know.

I wish the weather would get better..........should move to Park City Utah or Northern California

one of the mods just sold an amazing white '03 in 48 hours. check the cars for sale section.
there are 2 other GT2 currently for sale in the classifieds.
if you want a red one, there is one on ebay that I almost bought locally last May.
The car was very nice and had some good parts on it. SSK, Champion wheels and the MPSC tires were new at that time.
the dealer showed me a bunch of reciepts from Orbit Racing which is a good shop in SFL.
it is back for sale now, and out of curiousity I've been following it. The guy that bought it had it for sale himself and how there is a dealer advertising it.
here is the link.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2002-...item53e5fab33b
Price seems good too.
I think a good car will range between 75k and 85k
you can get a 900HP monster for 90k in the classifieds

Guys thanks for the info. I called the local Porsche dealer and asked what the cars are worth now. He said about $5K more than a regular 996TT
He also mentioned the GT2 are in the $50K range. Does this make sense.

I know whenever I trade a car into the dealer.........it is a major set-back. Just want to determine wholesale and retail #s

why did Scott (divextreme?) sell his car? He didn't have it for that long, and just started a thread entitled "my car is a beast" or something like that.

He sounds like a very funny guy.

Clean GT2s should sell for $75k to $100k depending on condition, mileage, etc...

Decided to do something different. But yes, my GT2 was definitely a "beast".

Prices are dropping

There have been several on Ebay that have been re-listed several times. these cars with 10-15kmiles aren't doing over $65,000. for what I am seeing. The red one in Greensboro I could have bought in the high $50's I spoke to the owner several times, spoke to the mechanic who did previous PPI on the car. The car is now for sale on ebay and someone is looking to make a huge profit. If you look at the drivers side front wheel it is missing the champion center cap, further investigation shows the front bumper and a couple of other front end items have been replaced. The previous prospective buyer faxed me a copy of the PPI. These are incredible cars that sold for almost $200,000. so getting them for a fraction of the price is a deal indeed. Divexxtreme's car was perfect and one of the few worthy of that price in my opinion.

The dealer was probably mixing up GT2 and X50.

Did you ever consider black before you finally went with the silver? I have been so obsessed with black cars that even when I look at the Silver,,, especially on a bad *** like the GT2 no mater how optioned out it is, I always feel I would miss it.

I was the same way about black, if you look at these cars you notice all the vents and ducts that go with them. I have never had a car with big gaping holes behind the doors, huge air intakes under each head light, a vented bonnet in the back, air ducts behind each rear wheel (and i dont even have a GT2 lol).... all these pop much more on any color but black. It was almost impossible to not go black with this car when I was looking but I am convinced a "turbo" or "GT2" in your case, stands out more in any other color when the detail of the car is shown with contrast.
