Anybody try these plugs out on your car? Would you recommend them?

 

Eric does great work..the paint will match and the price isn't bad...check the bumperplugs logo on the right

 

+1 good stuff! And get one to remove your rear wiper!

 

Bumperplugs- an easy recommend for me. Dension, door plugs, etc.

 

Looks like he drives his in the snow as do I. I would never get rid of my rear wiper.

 

Great... Thanks for the info on bumperplugs. I will be ordering soon. The car is parked for the winter. Had to move some things around the garage so decided to snap a couple pics. The rear wiper delete is definately on my radar.

 

I had bumperplugs on my car and had to remove them to do some work. That was a mistake. I didnm't have any special 'tool' to remove them so I tried to pry them up evenly from either side with flathead screwdrivers. The paint on the plug just popped off in one full piece and the white plastic plug was underneath. Luckily I was covering the holes with vinyl, but otherwise it was $30 down the drain. They are just cheap plastic push pins basically from the 'help me' section of Pep Boys with color matched paint on them. You could theoretically make them yourself very cheapy if you have any access to painting facilities.

 

obviously that's the rub . most of us don't have access so eric's goodies are worth their price.

 

Well, for my car being just a basic black, I have a feeling they would be pretty simple to make. I have to say that the paint quality sure was nice, as I have the rear wiper delete plug as well and it looks great.
