Switch wheels on DE day

Looking forward to a DE day at Buttonwillow in May. First timer, would you recommend I take my 19 off on go back to the stock turbo wheels. I'm primarily a cuzer but want to get into learning how to drive this beast. Then I'm going to hit everyone up for the first mods to make if any. Right now the car is way more than I can handle.

Hi Kenny! Welcome to the forum!

I would recommend you go back to 18's for a few reasons - weight (18's are lighter) and costs - 18" tires are cheaper to burn through at the track!

You will have a blast and will def be addicted! Just go out and enjoy the car and have fun!!!

I agree with Chad. 18" will definitely be better for the track. Have fun and get ready to be addicted. I haven't been in a while due to eye surgeries over the past year. Hopefully I get the clearance from the Doc soon, now that I have perfect vision!

DE with my 18"

Gents, thanks and I appreciate and will take your advise and use the 18 for DE and the 19 for around town. I'm surprised the 18 are lighter but maybe based on size alone they are lighter, and going through tires and a discount is a plus. See you all around the next corner. Kenny

18's compared to 19's of the same wheel are lighter. There are 19's that are lighter than the stock 18's.
