And what about DENSO PK20PR-P8 Double Platinum ... it looked to be a common choice for high hp application (above 600-650 hp)?

Copper is the best especially in high hp/boosted applications.

That's what I am running per Markski's recommendation. They have been very good so far!

Just to clarify guys,
are we saying the plugs can be changed without removing both the rear bumper and IC's.
Did mine in May last but had to change the Turbos as well because of corrosion issues. I did wonder what I would do next time it was time for a plug or coil pack change.
Cheers,
Frank

Hi Guys,,,,,,,So the Bosch FR6LDC is not the favored spark plug anymore??I was even thinking about trying the next colder one down ,5, in that series...I have had great luck with that plug and they are still going strong after 15,000 miles on them.....

I run the NGK Iridiums (as a previous Supra guy myself) and they work like a charm. IIRC, someone here installed some Denso IK-22s, didn't check the factory gap (which is way too big for the 996), and had misfire issues -thus iridium plugs got some bad press around here.

lol that was me, but they shouldn't use a generic part number for our car if the gap is wrong, IMO...

ahh I knew it was someone familiar Thats a good point on them listing a part number for the car that doesn't exactly work. Gapping iridiums is not the easiest thing either. The NGK version of the iridium plug (vice Denso) comes with a gap that is more appropriate for our cars.

I would love to hear how to change the sparkplugs without removing the rear bumper and intercoolers.

Incorrect...copper will foul out faster at high boost then a iridium plug, granted that both plugs are gapped properly.

I ran NGK 3330s in my first Supra and run coppers in my current white 1000hp Supra. Nothing else worked without hesitating, popping, etc... The 996TT may be a different story. Mine currently has whatever the PO had installed at the dealer 2K miles ago so I'm assuming its a OE plug.
