New Exhaust For The TT....Again
What, you think we dont see the ****ty stuff come through our door?
It is all a matter of opinion and yours is obviously on their side which is fine. We could go back and forth on this forever. You have an issue with EVOMS so let your hate reside somewhere else.

You had a customer who asked you to build a Mile car. It did well. Switzer doesn't currently have a Mile customer, so it's pointless to set anything up in a couple weeks at the Mile. But he does have customers who highway race and frankly, since that what most customers do with their builds, let's line them up with some go-pros. No need to make it more complicated.
Hit speed limiter - 195 at the ~3/4 mile mark, no traction control issues.
I'm sure you do, but you don't see ****ty work coming from SPI. That's the difference.

Again there will be excuses either way... It's something that happens everytime with any car... I remember a big thread from EVOMS about going for 250+, event happens and it doesn't happen... Traction Control issue.... I remember another thread from Switzer about blowing the Porsche numbers out of the water at the Mile... Event happens... Traction control issue (IIRC)...
People forget these things...
And if the Porsche isn't meant for drag racing then why do Mile racing? The Mile is drag racing but 3x longer then the standard 1/4... It's a car that came from the factory to miss the 200mph on the factory rev limiter, tires, etc...
In the end this is really just become a d*** swinging contest... Our cars are not top dogs on any straight line event... Regardless of what way you want to look at it we are ALL getting our @$$es kicked by the Lambos and the GT-Rs I can almost bet are going to take the last thing the Porsche has on them which is a Mile #. Everywhere else we are getting owned... Remember there will ALWAYS be someone faster...

I guess I picked the wrong freakin' week to go to an island in FL for vacatiom with no cell service. Hell, you guys forced me to go to an internet cafe. Here is my take in the " exhaust" thread. I removed the Switzer exhaust because several of us could not get past a certain power level with it. As I have said many times, it was and is a great product. After 800 HP it just was too much of a restriction, other than that I feel it is the ultimate street exhaust. For all the dick swingin on both sides, the 1/4 and street racing may be more accessible but the mile is the ultimate performance measure for the simple fact no other " test " stresses a motor as hard or for as long..... just meet at the mile. Just to show how good of a sport I am, I will transport two Switzer cars to the Fall mile and back for free. Hard to beat a deal like that.... OK back to vacation
Having heard many cars with the Switzer exhaust, it is a livable dd exhaust (possibly the best sounding next to a EP).
However if an exhaust is going to be livable/good sounding/dd able, there are going to be some performance compromises.
I went to a full 3 inch all the way BBI exhaust and while an excellent performer, it is much louder than the Switzers I have heard. Sometimes I miss my EP, although the car is considerably faster now.
I believe that the majority of customers don't want the extreme sound of the highest performing exhaust so a compromise is what will sell best.
