Spoiler issue- electrical?
Most the search results related to spoiler issues seemed to be with leaks and the spoiler not raising consistently or evenly.
While out driving today, over 75mph, I looked in the rearview at noticed the spoiler wasn't up at all. I tried toggling it with the switch and nothing. With the car parked, I tried toggling the switch again, and it didn't seem like there was any effort or noise or movement made towards trying to raise the spoiler. (I didn't get a dash light, but I believe the spoiler light in my dash is actually dead).
It had been working perfectly the whole time I've had this car. Yesterday, I opened the decklid to put in some oil... and it the spoiler hasn't worked since. Did I knock out a connection or something while closing the lid?
Any thoughts on trouble shooting would be appreciated
Thanks!

although you fortunately have no light problems, consider finding the location of the wing limit switches and verify that they aren't misaligned some way.
that's where i'd start. have you d/l'ed the manual available somewhere here? it is a useful reference.... good luck...

Decided to get the kit that's on sale on ebay which keeps the spoiler up permanently. Looks great- I can't comment on the install, as I handed it to the guy who did my 60k service.
I'm sure there's some Cd advantage to the spoiler being down under 75mph... but enough to justify the added weight of the mechanism and the constant failure? meh...
