Dyno Turbo

Howdy,

I am trying to do a dyno run on my turbo. The place that does it cannot find a plug wire to connect too. I went by the dealer and was told that there are no plug wires on a turbo... Where are you guys connecting to get the equivalent to a plug wire??

Thank you.
Roy

You need to pull the signal wire to the coil pac. You can get to number 4 coil on the front/right side of the motor. Follow it up from the coil in to the harness. Peel back the plastic cover and tag the green wire. That will give you a tach signal.

Roy,

With what you have told me about whoever is doing your dyno, I would not let them do any more. They are lible to do more damage than you can imagine.

Free advise is worth exactly what it costs you.

Thanks for the feedback. CJV, I understand you point. I'm looking for another source since these guys seem to lack P car experiance...

Thanks again.
