I run 235/305 Hankook V12's on my car. The rears are 305/30/19 but not sure about the fronts. I think they're 235/35 or 235/40. The garage is 50 feet away in my house but I'm too lazy to walk there. All I know is they've worked perfectly until the last few hundred miles and now that the rears are worn I'm getting some weird issues with PSM.

For those running 305/30 19 in the rear, do the sidewall look significantly taller compare to 305/25 19?

Do you have pictures with the tires and rims on your car? I would like to see if the difference is negligible visually.

Thanks!

I can tell you it looks much better than the 315/25 which looks too thin.
I have the same setup as Steve on the car right now: 305/30/19 and 235/35/19.
however, I don't have to worry about the center diff as I'm RWD.
Just did a track day last weekend and no problems what's so ever with ABS.
Also, if you'll search, there are many many threads on the subjects and all say to focus on the revs per mile and not the overall diameter. The revs per mile is where you should be calculating the difference between front and rear.
For you viewing pleasure here are 2 photos of the car.
The first is with the 305/30/19 & 235/35/19. The second is how the car came when I bought it: 315/25/19 and 245/35/19

I'm the loan wolf. Running 235x35x19f and 315x25x19r. Conti sport contacts. Lowered with PSS10. No rubbing. But I have bent a rear inner hoop on my three piece wheels I had to replace. Not much room for road hazards with 25 series.

Nice wheels. Size? One piece? Forged? Manufacturer?

Thanks Duane.
They are Champion RS98's.
One piece, Forged and some of the lightest 19's available.
Front is 8 or 8.5x19 (cant remember as the car came this way) and rear is 11.5x19 ET44.
If you hang on tight for another month or two they will be for sale as I'm switching to 18's. just looking for a worthy replacement

Alex, why did you make the change? Were they in need of replacement so you went with 305 or were you unhappy with the ride?

I'm in need of tires and want to go with 315/25/19 as I currently have the wrong 295/30. Now I'm torn as to which way to go.

I guess I could solve all my problems by buying a set of 18's

Scott

Yes, the tires were very old and in desperate need of replacement.
The 315/25/19 were very limited on availability and choices and after doing a lot of research I learned that I will be ok with a 305&235 combo as I'm RWD.
I actually know a 996TT that is running Toyo R888 in the same sizes without any issues, but do your research.
I'll be switching to 18" wheels and this is one of the reasons..

Recommended tire size by Tirerack with Pirelli Pzero Rosso. No issues thus far with BBS-RGR wheels.
