i would take it to someone that knows Porsche audio. i have NEVER had a p that had an after market stereo that didn't kill the battery. once the car starts it charges the battery so it will appear that the battery is good... i don't bother changing the stereo now.. and i alway look my car in the garage too. do you have a aftermarket head unit, or an amp too? i know that i am not the only one that has this issue. btw: congrats on a great car; i have the same one> if i were a betting man. i'd put my money on the radio.. i had the same problem.. hence, the gps never turns off..... the electric's in these cars are very sensitive,

See the pic for the loose part that I tighten by the clutch. It look like a switch and not relay. But it is not the red/black lever switch that is sensing the clutch position.

Not sure if this gray part has anything to do with the clutch and if itis loose, could it cause it not start?
If it were an alarm-related issue, your horn would honk when you lock the car. That tells you that it thinks there is something not secured.

The clutch switch could definitely cause everything to go quiet when you try to start. If in doubt - hard-wire it (but don't forget to put it back after).
