Boxster MAF on a GT2??

I've heard that a Boxster MAF actually works on a GT2 and that it's actually better than the Turbo's MAF because it wouldn't break as easily.

Is there any truth to this?

its less sensitive compared to the turbos original MAF, only draw back is the rough idling. i used it once and its less sensitive and won't through as much fault codes as the original MAF, but as i told you the idling is awful.

The 986 MAF is the direct replacement for the 996 MAF if you go to the dealer now a days. They both do everything the same, except the 986 MAF was less likely to throw codes due to air boxes.

I had the 986 MAF and an EPL tune and had no idle issues at all.
