Whine and CEL

Just brought the car in (01 turbo), strange whine at cold start up and CEL. Would a pump (like power steering pump) being bad cause a CEL?

Go have your car checked out at a Porsche dealer before your car catches on fire. I'm serious. Do a search on "Turbo Fire" and you'll see.

no worries

Service guy called, some kind of valve, 250 dollars. When you only spend 250 it's like robbing a thouand at a Porsche dealership. I did not know their charge machine could take such low numbers. Guys at Champion Motors are great though. They see alot of cars and have seen it all.

I'm thinking of taking my car to Champion because I'm fed up with The Collection and their incompetence, can you recommend anyone in Champion's service department?

Champion

Call Luis Berkowitz 954 946-4020 in service.Tell him Ritchie gave you the number. I bought my car at the Collection. The transaction part was great. Service a nightmare, and the service advisors I dealt with was an as**^^.They used to have a guy Bob running the Porsche Service but he left right when I bought my car, he was a good guy. Arm, you mentioned you have the headlight alarm, Does it go off before they have your lights?
