Rooting for Mike Bailey to get his 200+ shirt, Mullet to break 230 mph and EVOMS to hit 240mph or to at least to get the Porsche record for Eddie Bello.

just got back...had a lot of fun despite all my friends backing out on me.
I got there late (around noon), perfect timing for the heat wave. Got four runs in 180, 181, 184 and 184.2 was the best.
I forgot to remove my stereo equipment (80lbs for amp and sub) but at least I removed the passenger seat.
Everyone in "the grid" was very friendly the turkey legs weren't bad. It was very hard not to drink a few beers.
Good to meet MBailey and always good to see BHT and Mullet.
I drove over 400 miles in my car today avg at least 100 MPH (not including tx mile runs) with not a single issue with my car. Steve ott did a great job building my car.

My assessment of the Texas Mile:
This is the last event of the Texas Mile that will be held in Goliad. From a reliable source, the Mile is moving to a new location in Beevile Texas.
The attendance this weekend was something like I had never seen before. There were 4 times as many spectators this time. Parking was limited to the grass behind the paddocks.
The majority of the cars were Corvettes and Mustangs. There were very few exotics. 4 or 5 Pcar turbos. There was a beautiful 993 Turbo. There was one stock Gallardo, it ran 159.
I'll post pics soon.
