Very mild yesterday. 8 mph cross wind at times. Temps well into the 90's on the grid Dennis.

Bht is right...navy took over base and they are moving event to beeville...another fifteen miles for the Houston crew.

If anyone sees a video of my black 996 with an ugly tape job, I would love to see it.

I definitely want to go back, we just need a 6speed luxury rv.

 

What's the track/runway like in Beeville? Is there longer than a 1/2 mile shut down?

 

Actually, the Navy signed an agreement to continue to have the event in Goliad. However, there needs to be construction done on the Goliad field to bring it up to specs for the Navy. While that construction is occurring the event will move to Chase Field in Beeville, but will return after the construction concludes.

Hopefully the construction will include resurfacing and lengthening of the runway!!

Dont know anything about Chase Field yet...

From what I've been told the new venue has a longer shutdown. Now someone buy my car so I can get the car that actually needs it!!!

 

8000 foot runway just like Goliad PLUS 1000 extra feet of runoff that I am certain is paved.
