Spam16v is infamous around these parts
Read the tittle and cringed, I stand corrected, they look really nice. Get some good day shots as the photo looks deceptive as far as stance/offset.

I just found this out recently, but the little yellow circle on the tire is supposed to line up with your valve stem. The tire was counter balanced intentionally to lower the weight need to balance the wheel. Just wanted to share, im sure a lot of peeps already knew.

The yellow dot is a great starting point to mounting the tires however shops like ours who use a Hunter Road Force machine will not always have the dot by the valve stem since the machine tells us where to rotate the tire on the wheel after it has been mounted

If a shop doesnt have this type of equipment then the best way to mount the tire is with the dot by the valvestem

What about the red dot? -- The red dot is placed at the valvestem and the yellow is overlooked if a red dot is present

I really believe this because I have not see a rim with so little weight added for balance. Thanks again for a great work .

Thats very cool. Just so Im clear on this, you mount the tire completely, pressurize, spin it up. Then the machine tells you to de-pressurize and rotate tire?

Do you have to spin it up with just the wheel for reference? It seems you would, otherwise how would it know its the tire and not the wheel?

Also, didnt mean to hijack, I am very interested in this answer.

The machine has a large roller which comes down in contact with the wheel and tire and spins it and simulates the wheel as if its on the ground. The machine will then calculate the amount of roadforce the wheel and tire are creating and make a suggestion on how it can reduce the roadforce. When you reduce the roadforce you also decrease the amount of weights used as well.

So yes you would deflate the wheel wheel and tire and take it back to the mounting machine and spin the tire on the rim to the spot the machine told you to move it to.
