Carbonetics clutch

Hi, im about to buy a carbonetics triple plate clutch. Is their any issues with these? I heard about vibration and very on off. Also apparently very difficult to fit. Any input would be great. Thanks

Tuff install. I do not think it is so on/off, but my last clutch was a sintered iron disc. No vibration that I did not have before. Lots of noise when the peddle is press in.

After 10k miles mine is finally broken in and the engagement point has dropped a ton from where it began way up top. I can also slip it all day long where as earlier on it was on/off. It is noisy when pedal is pushed in but I also have a lwfw. I have the Protomotive/Motorwerks k24/18 set up so with this clutch I could add way more hp/tq but I likely won't since I track the car.

Funny thing is right before it breaks in it starts slipping quite a bit under wot which felt weird since it is such a strong clutch, or at least that was my experience.

I've noticed that too. Does anyone know why it's much louder with the a/c on?

It's a great clutch. It took my 24/18g and now my ski850gt with no problems at all. My clutch is still fairly new but you can slip the clutch fairly easily even with the lwfw. The engagement range is narrow but I wouldn't call it on/off. It's certainly not like stock if that's what you're wondering about. As others have already said it does make some noise with the clutch pushed in but mine isn't that loud unless you turn the a/c on.
