It is remarkable how many 996TTs there are in So. Cal. I drove past three today, including two a mere five minutes apart. I probably encounter a half dozen or more every week driving the local roads. Thus, I thought it would be interesting to start a thread for everyone to post So. Cal. 996TT sightings to determine if any of the spotted cars are driven by members of this forum.

July 15, 2003

9:20 am: Woodland Hills (Kelvin at Serrania) - Seal Grey 996TT

6:20 pm: Sherman Oaks/Bel Air (Mulhulland, just east of Roscomere, driving east bound) - Black 996TT

6:25 pm: Encino (Havenhurst, south of Ventura, driving south bound) - Silver 996TT

Are any of the owners of these cars members of this forum?

Did anyone else spot any 996TTs today in So.Cal.?

 

Saw at least 3 today myself too.

 

In San Diego it is easier to count the cars that AREN"T turbos.....

Craig...all the areas you mentioned are in the west side. That is were the entertainment industry ($$$$$) is. I too see alot of TT's on the west side. farther east you go, the rarer they become. However, 996 cabs are 5X more out there than TT's.

 

I've seen three turbos here in the greater Phoenix in the month (to the day) that I've owned my turbo.

One light blue, one silver, one yellow. I saw the yellow one today about a mile from my home in Mesa.

haven't seen that many myself...~><~...
guess I go out too little...

but saw a white turbo on road a few weeks ago...
no mod, and heading 110 or 101 north...

I think it was a usc alumni @_@...

 

Well here in the old Midwest in the Western half of Michigan I NEVER see any other 996 turbo's! I have seen one other 996 turbo at a local track event but have yet to see another on the road here in over a year and a half!
