Great hook up! Part number?

You know, the weight differences will be negligible between the two, maybe in grams. I am thinking searching out a true CF piece that looked stock and not altered wouldn't save that much in weight just for the hassle and overage in price.

Taking the bumper cover off is the only way you will get that piece on. Just look at the mounting holes. They are attached on the interior of the cover. It should be pretty easy. Check one of the online service manuals, S4B.

I will post the part number as soon as they email me the order confirmation. I am not concerned with the lack of weight savings. I mainly just love the look. Also, my stock piece is a little beat up. You cannot really tell from the pictures, but it was enough to bother me, and push over the edge to get a carbon fiber replacement.

Where do I find the online service manual? Got a link?

Those hyena teeth look fearsome. I would not like to be anywhere near a pack of those creatures.

Yes...thank you. I just had them cleaned. I thought about using a picture of my car as my avatar, but everyone has that, and this is more memorable.

I know you already got one, but I purchased one from Suncoast also for around $700. We bolted it up to Precision Porsche's GT2 front bumper. Fit was perfect and the looks are stunning. Cost is ridiculous, though. I get more comments about that one piece than anything else on my car. If somebody else is looking, maybe you could purchase the plastic one for sub $100 dollars and place that 3M carbon vinyl that's available. It would probable look the same and save hundreds of dollars.

Yeah the Hiyena has the strongest bite force of any land dwelling mamal. The crocodilian and great white shark are more but they are in the reptile and fish catagories...

shtfrbrains very nice GT2 grille...it's going to look stunning on your shiny black car! By the way I accepted your 6speed FR, dunno if you got a reply or not...

Check this out. These boys in Nigeria have pet Hyena's that they use in their traveling show. Tourist or whoever are near the beasts flock to see them for the shear fact of oddity. The boys wear the protective clothing so that when they do attempt to jump up on them with their sharp hoofs, the cuts will be minimized. They go from township to township with their show gaining donations enough to sustain food and shelter for the animals and themselves. Nowhere else in the world is this brave act attempted.

This is a great article of perspective. If you are interested, it is a good read. Pieter Hugo :: The Hyena Men of Abuja, Nigeria - 2005 II

Whoa, awesome mileage, and, therefore, a justifiable price IMHO, though based on limited experience. I would have had to pass it up. Looks very nice.

The carbon fiber vent is on my car now. It looks beautiful! Everyone who has seen it thinks it's a great looking piece. Even the guys at Piper Motorsport who installed it while they were doing my shifter really liked it. It looks perfect with a black car too. I will post a pic as soon as I get a chance.
