Looking for a set of iForged Variant in 19" to 996T!
What do you guys think of theese wheels? I think that it looks great and has a hint of the OEM wheels in it.
Wich vendor can offer the best price on theese wheels, or someone maybe has a used set for sale? Well, I live in Sweden and has to get thesse wheels in some way.






Maybe in brushed or matte black finish? My car is black.

Yeah, I think that the center is forged but the barrel is not. Its still heavvy though, so this is a wheel for us posers, not racers.

 

This was a VERY popular HRE style a few years ago.

 

that is the style i have on my 996.
they are forged entirely (center , barrel, and lip).
they also weigh less than oem 18" wheels.

thats also the same design as the hre 542 series.

Reviving this thread because, like Erik was a couple of years ago, I am looking for some 19" iforged variants, or HRE 542, for 996 turbo fitment. If anyone can point me toward any opportunities, it would be much appreciated. My preference is brushed with polished lip. Thanks.

 

Rotiform makes a wheel just like that, but even better looks, IMO. It's called the TMB

 

I've never been a fan of the small center/stepped lip look.

Heck I don't even like the exposed bolts, even though I have them on my car.

They make them in all variants...reversed lip with hidden hardware. Stepped lip with hidden hardware, and even mono block forged. Do a search online. There is a black 964 with the mono blocks that looks timeless.

 

Thanks guys. Those are nice too, but for whatever reason I've been attached to the HRE 542 / iForged Variant for a while now. Since HRE discontinued that wheel, I'm hoping something pops up here.

 

Looks like a set of HRE 542 or these iForged are going to be harder to find than I thought. Only ones I've run across are being sold by Wheel Dynamics, and after reading some threads on here, I think it best to pass on those.

i have these wheels sitting at the shop.
19x8.5 19x12. i kept them when i sold my 996. with or without tires. (different sizes too. normal (305) and grown man size, (325).
i was planning on repainting them a different color scheme and throwing my 19" winter tires on them.
