Yes that is true. Once a season should do the plugs and oil change even if you do not get the miles on the car.

wow this is so weird to me, again with a subaru background i changed plugs once every 75k miles on their flat, turbo, rich running motor.

I go until slight misfire starts, I think I put 10k+ on NGK's Had them on for over 1 1/2 years. - went back to Bosh plug, I'm gonna see how they can least.

Did some research and the 997 crowd seems to gravitate to the Bosch F5DP0R with a 30k change interval. Seems highly recommended from the larger boosted community as well. As my car is a daily driver, albeit with A28, 1000cc, and tune, the longer interval is appreciated.
